The Student Resource Center has magazine articles and detailed information selected for 6th to12th grade. Click here for a list of articles just on mummies (the library has done the search and found just those for 6th to 8th grade), or go to the main search page and do your own search.

CELLS

Cells Alive  is probably the best student resource on cell biology.  Be sure to try the interactive "name the cell parts" game

• Check out the virtual microscopes on the Molecular Expressions site
• The Micropolitan Musuem of Microscopic Art Forms offers wonderful photography and quick loading movies of real cells dividing, moving, and more.  There is an entire museum exhibit on the microscopic life found in ponds.
• Cybersleuth Kids provides a comprehensive list of kid friendly links on microscopes and microscopic lfe
• Stalk the mysterious microbe with microbiologist Sam Sleuth -- experiements, news, career info, and more
