Marina  Instructions

Materials that may not be requested through Marina:

• Materials in the Tri-County Public Library Consortium. (If an item is owned by Wicomico, Worcester or Somerset Counties or the Eastern Shore Regional Library, it is available through your local library's catalog.)
• Materials on order.
• Reference materials.
• Most media other than books.
• Entire magazine issues. (For specific articles, see a librarian or use our on-line databases.)

To Place a Request:

Make sure your title is not one of the items that may not be requested.

• Enter your library card number without spaces at the Patron ID prompt.
• Click on Submit Input.
• Click on Searching/Requesting.
• Enter search terms by title, author, or subject.
• Click on Begin Searching.

Combined Results Screen:

• Scroll down to view search results.
• Click on a title to get more information or click on Request button to place a request for the title.
• If you selected More Information, click Request button to place a request for the title.

Create Request Screen:

• Click on Yes to confirm that your name is correct.
• Click on the down arrow next to the Pickup Location box and select the library where you would like to pick up the item.
  
  
  NOTE:
  • Do not enter anything into the maximum cost field. There is no charge for a Marina request.
  • Do not enter anything in Email address for notification.
  • Entering information in the NOTES field will delay your request.
    
    
• Click on Submit.
• Wait for Request Confirmation Screen.
• Write down the request number.
• Click on Quit to end the session.
