Homework Help!

Children are valued customers at the Wicomico Public Library! 

  • Come browse the collection of books, books on tape and cd, videos, music CDs and more.  
  • Cuddle up to read in the Birth to Four section.
  • Try the computer game section (with software appropriate for young children).
  • Use the children's computers to type up special reports and school projects
  • Use the children's computers for filtered access to the internet.
  • Attend a story hour or family program. (tips and details!)
  • Check out the online resources for homework help.

Teens at the library can enjoy the "Teen Zone" area, with selected books, magazines, videos, and DVDs.  

  • Books, books-on-tape, books-on-cd, magazines, videos, and DVDs are available for borrowing using your library card.  Anyone under age 14 must have the library card application signed by a parent or guardian.
  • The library has a collection of over 20,000 music CDs available to borrow, including current and popular artists. Having a party? 
  • Entertainment videos and DVDs, including new releases, are available to borrow.

Computers

  • Teens are welcome to use library computers for homework, research, and fun. High speed internet access is available at the main Library , tbe Centre Branch, and Willards and Bivalve Stations.. All public access computers have filtered access to the Internet.

Volunteers

  • Teen volunteers play an important role at the Library and branches. Sign up for Teen Tech to improve your skills, assist in making library promotional materials, and help others on computers.  Help prepare for children's programs. Help keep the library neat and organized.  Earn your community service credit.
