It is time to file federal and state income taxes for 2007
Your library can help.

 

Pick Up Tax Forms at the Library

The IRS provides the library with copies of basic tax forms (1040, 1040EZ and instruction booklets) that are available at the main library, and the branches at the Centre at Salisbury and Pittsville. Stop by and pick them up.

You can download federal tax forms and instructions from the IRS website:

Both the federal and state websites also provide information on tax preparation assistance, e-filing, refunds, and other related questions.

Tax Preparation Assistance

Please note that there will be NO Tax Preparation Assistance available at the library this year.

AARP Tax Aide Tax Preparation Assistance is being offered through MAC at the MAC Center on Riverside Drive in Salisbury. Call 410-742-0505 x 100 for information or an appointment.

Free Tax Preparation Services are available at Shore Up! for households earning $40,000 or less. 

Taxes prepared:
Monday & Wednesday: 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Saturdays: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
