Do you love cartoons, anime and manga? If you do, bring your sketchpad, pencils, erasers, and color pencils to explore the world of drawing new worlds and characters. Bring your favorite comic books too. We’ll share ideas, techniques, and talk about making a portfolio to get into the business of art and animation.

E-sources are online databases and resources that provide reliable information for research and school. Most of the library's databases can be accessed from home. (Your library card number will be required.) Click here for a complete list of resources.

More than 300,000 biographies throughout history, the world, and across all disciplines and subject areas. Reference resources, periodical articles and portraits.

The live homework help is available seven days a week from 2 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. Eastern time in the subjects of math, science, social studies, and English. It is also available in Spanish Sunday through Thursday 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.. Students can connect to a tutor through any computer with Internet access, including computers at their local public library or at home. This service is brought to you by Eastern Shore Regional Library and provided to the eight county libraries on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

EBSCO's Student Research Center makes it easy for students to search by keyword or by topic to find the most useful search results. Results can be easily sorted by source type - -magazines, reference books, photos, flags, etc. (Grades 6 to 12)

This online education resource provides everything a student needs to learn more about further education and assists in making informed decisions on their future from one single, handy database. Testing & Education Reference Center also features interactive online practice tests for preparatory examinations including entrance exams and certification and licensing tests. Some of the standardized tests included are: AP exam, SAT, GRE, civil service exams for places of employment like the U.S. Post Office, NCLEX for nurses, real estate, military, PRAXIS for teachers, and GRE. In addition to the standardized tests, this resource offers online information about private high schools, colleges and universities, graduate schools, and specialty schools.
