DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special Independence Day themed storytime with s
 pecial guest reader, Wicomico County Executive, Julie Giordano. All 0-5 ye
 ar-olds and their caregivers are welcome to join us at the Paul S. Sarbane
 s downtown library to share songs, rhymes, and stories together on the fir
 st four Thursdays of each month. Studies have shown that singing aloud and
  sharing books aloud help your child's brain development and health. 
 This half-hour program is designed to introduce young children and their f
 amilies to foundational elements of literacy. Additionally, storytime will
  provide an opportunity for children and their caregivers to make new conn
 ections in their community and find new ways to play together. The program
  is free and does not require registration.
