DESCRIPTION:All 0-5 year-olds and their caregivers are welcome to join us 
 at the Paul S. Sarbanes downtown library to share songs, rhymes, and stori
 es together on the first four Thursdays of each month. Studies have shown 
 that singing aloud and sharing books aloud help your child's brain de
 velopment and health. This half-hour program is designed to introduce youn
 g children and their families to foundational elements of literacy. Additi
 onally, storytime will provide an opportunity for children and their careg
 ivers to make new connections in their community and find new ways to play
  together. The program is free and does not require registration.
