DESCRIPTION:Paws to Read allows your child to read aloud to a dog for 5 - 
 7 minutes. A volunteer will be present during the entire session. This act
 ivity helps build reading confidence in children while they are relaxing a
 nd having fun. This fun and popular program is proven to lay the foundatio
 n for a lifetime of learning and it encourages the love of books in an env
 ironment full of opportunities to practice the full range of communication
 s skills.\r\nChildren must be 4-12 years old, must be accompanied by an ad
 ult, and not have any allergies to dogs. You may bring your own books or c
 hoose chapter or picture books from the library to read. Permission slips,
  fill out and submit forms here, may be filled out the day of program. Th
 is program will be held the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month.
