Message From the Director

The elevator in the Downtown location of Wicomico Public Library will be out of service beginning Monday, May 6 through Friday, June 14.

There will be no elevator service to the library's main floor or meeting rooms during this time. The Library's Meeting rooms will not be open for public use until after June 14.

Arrangements have been made for a temporary desk in the entrance to the library. Visitors not able to climb the library stairs will have some services available at this desk, including picking up reserved items, paying fines, placing holds and checking out. More in-depth services, including use of the library computers, will not be available at this temporary desk.

If you need to access a computer but cannot climb stairs, please plan on using our Branch at the Centre @ Salisbury mall. If you use a stroller, please plan ahead. Library staff are NOT permitted to assist individuals up the stairs or to carry strollers or other items up the stairs.
