Film Screening: Cléo from 5 to 7 || The Salisbury Salon

Directed by Agnès Varda, a pioneering female director in the French New Wave scene, Cléo from 5 to 7 follows a young popstar's unexpected cancer diagnosis against a romantic Parisian backdrop. The film explores denial of aging, the "loss" of beauty, and learning a world outside the mask of youth. 

This film screening is enthusiastically hosted by the Paul S. Sarbanes branch's "Salisbury Salon Creative Circle," a program open to anyone 18+ (unless otherwise stated).The Salon typically meets twice monthly, with a unique topic posted for each event. We invite you to join our discussions and activities over a nice snack or two. Registration is not required for meetings. Past meeting topics have included folklore, learning runes, classic horror literature/film, and dream interpretation. Our mission is to gather the community in a welcoming environment to unplug, unwind, and share perspectives on all things literature, art, film, and music. :)
