The Desjardins have long been a key part of the Salisbury and Wicomico County communities, and Gary even received his degree from Salisbury University. Their donation will go toward creating more focused storytimes for children.

George Demko has been a key part of the Wicomico County community for the past 35 years, since he first moved to the area with his wife, Joan.

Our Friends Foundation was fortunate enough to secure their early support for the Building Our Library Together campaign. Ray and Donna donated $10,000 to fund a new feature at the library: a "soundproof pod."

Those are the inspiring and now ubiquitous words of Charles "Chip" Dashiell himself, the Immediate Past Chair of our Board of Trustees, the current Vice-Chair of our Friends Foundation, and now, with his wife, Ruby, a $25,000 donor to the Building Our Library Together campaign.
