Event Details

Calling all teens with a passion for writing! Explore ethical dilemmas and expand your critical thinking abilities in our writing workshop! Writers will develop their own ethics case studies to submit to PLATO (Philosophy Learning and Teaching Organization) for the opportunity to win $100. An ethical case study thoroughly explores a moral dilemma in an effort to reflect on the real-life applications of ethics. The goal is not to determine a right answer, but to understand multiple perspectives!

The writing workshop will be led by faculty and students from Salisbury University's philosophy department.

The deadline for PLATO submissions is Monday, August 14, 2023 at 5:00 pm. Any middle or high school student can participate. Cases can be written by individuals or groups.
