Gather 'round the "campfire" to spin and share some spine-tingling tales! We will have short stories from Poe to Lovecraft to the iconic original "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark," but please feel free to bring your own selections, including original pieces! :D

This event is hosted by the WPL Salisbury Salon Creative Circle @ the Sarbanes branch :)

The Sarbanes branch presents "The Salisbury Salon" -- an open literary, artistic, and philosophical circle. A novel take on Enlightenment-period literary salons, The Salisbury Salon aims to be a welcoming space for ALL to engage in hearty discussion and activities, share personal projects, and enjoy good company over refreshments. Meetings will be held the first and third Saturdays of each month,* and discussion/activity topics will be announced monthly. Registration is not required but is encouraged.

Attending Children

Children under 8 must be monitored by a guardian who is at least 13 years old to assure the safety and behavior of that child. Children ages 8 and older may visit the library independently provided they are able to care for themselves and are able to understand and follow the Library’s Behavior Guidelines.
