Valerie currently serves as Chair of the Friends Committee within the Friends Foundation. She coordinates volunteers for the library’s bookstore on a daily basis. From 2005 to 2015, Valerie served on the Library’s Board of Trustees and held the position of Board Chair for one year.

Valerie believes the library provides vital resources and information to anyone in need. She recognizes that as the ways people access information evolve, libraries must continue to adapt to meet the community’s needs.
