Wicomico County native, Michele J. Canopii currently serves as the program manager of the Catholic Charities Seton Center where she leads Eastern Shore Social Services programs for the region. With more than two decades of public sector human service management experience, she has worked on behalf of Maryland residents facing challenges for the Wicomico County and Baltimore City Departments of Social Services. Educated on the shore, she earned a Doctorate of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Master of Education and Political Science Bachelor degrees while attending Salisbury University. She is actively involved in the community and previously served on the Salisbury Neighborhood Housing Board and Tri-County Boy Scouts of America District Committee.
