How can we thank Marty & Marilyn Neat enough? Marty, the tireless Chair of our Friends Foundation, and his wife are leading the capital campaign by example with an extremely generous $100,000 contribution to building our new Paul S. Sarbanes Library on Schumaker Pond.
An avid library user and supporter of local social causes, Marty said of his donation, "Marilyn and I are honored to be part of this campaign and to make this contribution. Marilyn taught reading for 27 years. I grew up reading armloads of books from the library. There's no greater skill for a young person. We know the library will impact our community for generations to come."
We couldn't agree more with him - and we couldn't be more excited to continue working closely with Marty & Marilyn on our Building Our Library Together campaign.
