Summer Reading Program 6/1 - 8/23
Join the Color Our World Summer Reading Challenge at Wicomico Public Library, June 1 through August 23! This year, you choose your own reading goal: 15, 25, 40, or 60 days. The activities and challenges are the same for everyone, making it easy for the whole family to join in the fun.
Every month, we’ll draw prize winners from our active summer readers. Just by participating, you could win something cool! Finish your reading goal and return your game board by August 23 to complete the challenge.
Want to go digital? Track your progress online at wicomicolibrary.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack App. This summer, let books brighten your world!
Getting Started
Online or offline, it’s easy to participate in the summer reading challenge! Use Beanstack online or download the app from Google Play or the App Store. Follow the prompts to create a user account, then add readers to the account to include the whole family. Available challenges appear by the age of each reader. Have a question? Staff are available to help you get started.
Paper options are fun, too! Stop by a branch location to collect one of the gameboards, or find us at a community event this summer. Additional copies of the game boards are available below. Paper game boards can be used independently or online with Beanstack.
Prizes
Each month this summer, readers of all ages have a chance to win fun prizes just by joining and participating in the Summer Reading Challenge!
From creative sketch kits and cool games to Wow Water Pads and collectible Funko Pops, there’s something exciting for everyone. Sign up, get reading, and you might score a prize just for being part of the fun!
