Have ideas? Want to make a difference? Join TAG!
The Teen Action Group is open to all teens aged 13 and up who want to help shape what happens at the library. TAB members share ideas, plan programs, and make their voices heard. Members earn 1 service learning hour for each meeting attended.
When & Where
TAB meets once a month at the Sarbanes Library in Downtown Salisbury.
What TAG Does
TAG members:
- Share opinions and suggestions for teen programs events and books
- Help plan and promote library activities
- Represent the voice of teens in our community
- Earn volunteer and leadership experience
Our Impact
The Teen Action Council or TAC was founded in 2008. TAC members inspired some of our most popular programs, including the Teen Anime/Otaku Club, Open Mic Nights, and Marvel Movie Nights. Their input also shaped our Summer Reading programs and prizes, plus teen-led events like Drawing Club and Poetry Workshops.
In 2025 we’re rebooting and rebranding the group and we’d love for you to help shape the future of TAG!
Volunteer & Leadership Opportunities
TAG members can earn additional hours and experience through projects such as:
- Reading and reviewing books
- Leading or assisting with library programs and community events
Why Join?
