Event Details

Come join us as for a very special inaugural meeting of our Chapter Chats Teen Book Club!

On Tuesday, April 14th at 4:30pm, graphic novelist Orpheus Collar will be live at Centre Branch immersing us into the world of Eurydice Lives Again, his forthcoming YA graphic novel that reimagines the tragic romance of Orpheus and Eurydice. His hands-on workshop explores how ancient stories can be reclaimed to reflect modern ideas. Through art slides, character sketches, interactive instruction, and insights from his archaeological research trips across Greece, Collar shows how myths stay alive by being rewritten. A New York Times Best-Selling Graphic Novelist known for his adaptations of the Percy Jackson series (now a show on Disney+), the Heroes of Olympus series, and the Kane Chronicles trilogy, all adapted from the original novels by Rick Riordan, Collar offers an engaging experience for longtime fans and newcomers alike. Presented by the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation.
