Program Description

Event Details

This week, Youth Gardening 101 is taking a field trip! Meet us on the front steps of Salisbury University's Holloway Hall. We'll be joined by SU's gardening club and have the opportunity to see their facilities.

Follow this link to see a map of campus and to request a parking pass at least 48 hours prior to the program. We recommend parking in Lot F off of Camden St.

Learn to grow fresh and delicious fruits and vegetables in your own backyard for free! In this six month class, we will meet on the first and fourth Tuesday of each month to learn the fundamentals of growing our own food to learn to be more self-sufficient. The second meeting of each month will be an outreach based program in the community in order to provide more hands-on experiences and to explore environmental studies.

*This program is designed for ages 10 through teen.
